As Veterans Day approaches, I think back to when I first raised my hand to serve. I enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1973, near the close of the Vietnam era — a time marked by uncertainty, responsibility, and courage. Even though the war was ending, the dangers were still very real. I lost seven friends when a B-52 bomber went down during a training mission in Anchorage, Alaska. That experience has stayed with me for a lifetime.
At ATC Driveaway, those same values continue to guide everything we do. As a veteran-owned company, we take pride in working with honesty, accountability, and respect by honoring the same principles that shape our military community.
This Veterans Day, we pause to remember the men and women who have worn the uniform, those who serve today, those who have served before us, and those who gave their lives in defense of freedom.
To every veteran: your courage and commitment inspire us daily. Thank you for your service and sacrifice from all of us at ATC.
Happy Veterans Day.
